Take a chance on your next great read—or send someone special a thoughtful and unique gift.
Each Blind Date with a Book contains a carefully selected pre-loved book, beautifully wrapped in brown parcel paper so its identity remains a surprise. A few clues on the outside will give you a flavour of what is waiting inside, but you won’t discover the title until you unwrap it.
Each parcel includes:
• A carefully selected pre-loved book
• A few clues about the story
• A chocolate bar
• A tea bag or hot chocolate sachet
• Gift wrapping and UK postage
Blind Date with a Book makes a lovely and unusual gift for birthdays, thank-yous, Christmas, care packages or simply to let someone know you are thinking of them. It is also a wonderful treat for anyone who loves discovering new books.
Choose a one-off surprise for £12.95 or sign up for our monthly subscription and receive a new Blind Date with a Book through your letterbox each month for £11.65—a 10% subscriber discount.
You can tell us a little about the reader and the types of books they enjoy. We will use this information to select a suitable book wherever possible, while keeping the title itself a surprise.
As our books are pre-loved, they may show some gentle signs of having been read. Every book is checked to make sure it is in good, readable condition.
Best of all, every purchase helps Ripples of Compassion raise funds to support children and families when they need it most.
Please note: Book titles, chocolate and drink varieties will vary according to availability. Ingredient and allergen information will remain with the food and drink items. Please review this carefully before consuming.
