Small, personalised support for a need that matters.
Serious illness can affect a child’s confidence, sense of safety and emotional wellbeing and can touch every member of the family. Making It Possible may be able to fund a personalised form of support when our usual services are not quite the right fit.
When the usual answer doesn’t quite fit
Your request doesn’t need to fit a set list. Each child responds differently.
We listen to what feels meaningful, appropriate and manageable for you.

A carefully chosen item or resource that helps your child feel calmer, safer or more connected.
Expression and understanding
Creative, sensory or therapeutic resources that help a child explore feelings in their own way.
Support for the

A specific need affecting a parent, brother or sister as they support and stay close to the child.
Individual support, considered with care
Making It Possible is our flexible support offer for needs that are not fully met by another Ripples service, the NHS, local services or another charity.
We consider each request individually. We may offer an item, arrange support directly or contribute towards an agreed cost. The help available will depend on the need, suitability, charitable funds and our ability to provide it safely.
Making a request does not guarantee funding. We will always respond with care and explain what we can ,or cannot, offer.
This support may be suitable when:
The need is specific and can be explained
The support would make a clear and meaningful difference
The same support is not readily available elsewhere
It can be provided safely and within our charitable purposes
Ripples of Compassion can fund the item, service or experience directly (we are not able to give any funds directly to families.

A donation of £25 an help provide personalised practical or emotional support for a child or family when the usual support does not quite fit.
