Why Comfort Boxes?
Some days can feel particularly difficult.
After the death of your child, grief can affect every part of everyday life. Taking time for yourself may feel unimportant—or simply impossible—when you are carrying so much.
Grief can also feel more prominent around birthdays, anniversaries, a diagnosis date, family celebrations or other times that hold particular meaning for you.
A Comfort Box cannot change what has happened. It offers a small, practical reminder to pause, be gentle with yourself and know that someone is thinking of you and remembering your child.
A little care, when you may need it most.
What might be inside?
Each box is different, but will include a thoughtful mixture of items that support rest, reflection and gentle self-care.
Something comforting: a warm drink or small treat to enjoy in your own time.
A little self-care: simple pamper items chosen to encourage a moment just for you.
Calm and mindfulness: ideas and resources that can support moments of calm and relaxation.
Spaces to reflect: a journal, activity or prompt for thoughts and memories.
Kindness from Ripples: a reminder that you and your child have not been forgotten.
When can you request a box?

When grief feels especially prominent
When you need a little extra care.
You can request a smaller individual box or a larger family or parent box, helping us reach as many families as possible.
